Rain, cold and wind couldn’t stop this cute couple from getting hitched last night at Farish Recreation Area in Woodland Park.
My father went to the United States Air Force Academy and I actually grew up vacationing at Farish as a child and fell in love with it. It is 650-acres of pure paradise, located off of Rampart Range Road, inside of the Pike National Forest. It boasts several lakes, tons of granite boulders and lots of aspens! It is gorgeous all year long, but the fall is my favorite. Besides all the golden aspens, the elk move in and can be heard bugling in the mornings and evenings. It is literally the best kept secret I know, but I was happy to share with with John and Megan – I am so happy I could help find them a perfect venue for their wedding! Not long after their ceremony the clouds cleared and we were able to drive around and make some nice portraits. Here is a sneak peak at one of my favorite photographs from the evening…
